A contestant on The Voice said she had a “fat wig out” when she forgot the lyrics to her song mid-performance.
Siala Robson was performing David Bowie’s Fame 90 in last night’s Playoff against Nathan Isaac when she suddenly forgot the words and stopped performing.
The singer stood in shock on the stage before continuing with the song at the insistence of the coaches.

“I couldn’t concentrate,” Siala later told 9Entertainment. “I went out there and I started singing and I was not in the room.
“I had just a fat wig out.”
After the performance, the coaches did their best to reassure Siala that her performance was still great.
“It’s like you had a blackout and you were like, ‘Wait, crap, where are my words?’” Kelly Rowland said to her. “But the truth is, they were all still there, you were just in the moment.”
Guy told Siala just to roll with it if she ever makes a mistake in the future.
“Rule one of performing, if you don’t show that you’ve made a mistake, literally most people will have no idea,” he said.

After the performance, Boy George had to decide whether to send Siala or Nathan (both Team George members) through to the next round of the competition.
Despite her epic blunder, he chose Siala to advance.
“The person I’m taking through, with some fear, is Siala,” he said.
And viewers at home thought Boy George made the right choice.
The Voice continues tonight on Channel 9 at 7.30pm
