Despite the fact that they had a fallout at some point, it looks like, nowadays, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are on good terms again! The former childhood friends have nothing but love for one another now, or at least that seems to be the case with Selena!

She took to social media to post a picture of Demi at the Grammy Awards performing and alongside it, she wrote: ‘I wish there were words to describe how beautiful, inspirational, and DESERVED this moment was. Demi I’m so happy for you. Thank you for your courage and bravery.’

How sweet is that message! And sure enough, Demi Lovato really did manage to bring the whole audience, be it fans or fellow celebrities in attendance to tears with her emotional performance at the prestigious awards show.

After all, the song that she performed, titled ‘Anyone’ was apparently written just a few days before she nearly lost her life to a drug overdose.

Listening to the lyrics, it’s not hard to tell that it’s a cry for help so the vulnerability and sincerity in it really touched everyone who listened to her singing it.

Lyrics like ‘Nobody’s listening to me’ and ‘I feel stupid when I pray, so why am I praying anyway?’ make the song so personal people could not help but praise her for the bravery, her former BFF included.

Not to mention that it was also her very first live performance since the overdose happened to her.

As for Selena and she, it’s no secret that, as time went on, the two childhood friends grew apart.

However, Selena reached out to Demi after the overdose, although not publicly so fans were still not sure where they stood.

She previously told Elle that ‘I reached out personally. I didn’t do a public thing. I didn’t want to. I love her. I’ve known her since I was seven. So, that’s what I’ll say.’
