Rachel Boston is celebrating the new year – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the Hallmark holiday movie star shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while vacationing in Hawaii. "Happy New Year at dawn ✨✨✨May 2024 bring beautiful blessings!" she captioned the post. How does the mother-of-one approach health and wellness? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle tips.

While filming In Plain Sight in New Mexico, Rachel went on lots of hikes. "Spending time outside in the sun is a beautiful way to lift the spirit," she told Self. "I loved exploring the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque and discovering new trails in Santa Fe."

Rachel also loves to move her body on the dance floor. "Dance like no one is watching!" she told Self. "When I'm traveling, I always look for a dance studio. It's a great workout and a wonderful way to meet new friends in the community." Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

Rachel, who hails from Tennessee, loves riding horses. "Wild, wild horses," she captioned a post. According to the American Heart Association, riding horses is great for your health. Not only does it boost cardiovascular health, but builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.

Rachel enjoys spending a day golfing. "And after work, we golf," she captioned this post. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.

In her recent Instagram photo, Rachel takes a walk on the beach. She also regularly walks around her Los Angeles neighborhood. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.
