In an interview with People, Smith opened up about her beauty and wellness secrets. She says that her most important beauty secret is making sure you drink enough water each day. "Stay hydrated. I'm kind of addicted to alkaline water."
Smith says to People that one of the ways she gets moving is by going outside and walking. She says that walking and going outside also helps with her mental state and puts things into perspective for her. "Going on a walk, moving my body, getting fresh air, touching nature – all of those things I think help me to have a clearer mental state, ground me, and help me to see the bigger picture. The whole world does not revolve around the small issues in my life. When you have a healthy body, it supports you having a healthy mind. And when you have a healthy mind, then you can really give of yourself back to the world."
Despite her busy schedule, Smith tells People that she prioritizes her self-care routine. "I try to carve out time for myself to do other things to feel good and luxuriate, like take a hot bath."
Smith is the face for Gucci perfume, and she tells People that she has a certain ritual to prepare herself for this big job. "Every time I go to a shoot, I always try to get grounded in my space first. I burn incense and set up my crystals and just kind of create my own space so I can feel like I'm bringing myself to it, and not like I'm a fish out of water. So, it's just settling into myself and then creating from that place."
Smith tells People that she makes sure to stay motivated, and she has a special item that helps her do so. "I have one of those water bottles that have the hours on it, and when you get to the bottom it says something like, 'Almost there. Keep going!' which keeps me motivated."
